Prayer Request:Indigenous woman jailed over unpaid fines after police call in dog squad;

Police officer arrested over alleged assault and rape of 2-month-old girl;

Child victim attacked on her way to childcare centre by family dog owner in Melbourne;

A young child found injured while waiting in a taxi near Brisbane after being left outside to wait with her father and his girlfriend.

The three were arrested after a car pulled up on a busy road. Officers say the driver and passenger were "appealing to each other to get away."

It was then they decided the child could not stay outside for more than a few minutes, and a member of the public called police, who were then called in to take the child in.

But that didn't stop the child being attacked from the back seat of the car, which was still being driven by the alleged offender.

One girl, aged four, was left paralysed in her back while the other two were seriously injured in a separate incident earlier this week in their home city.

Police have described this incident as an "absolute disgrace" in a press release issued on Sunday.

While the family of the child are not believed to be involved in any crime, police have described the incident as "an utter shame."

The woman has since been charged with child abduction and has pleaded not guilty.

Mr Duterte has been accused of torture. His administration has used military force to silence critics. Last month the Philippines signed a peace treaty with the southern Philippines but the President will not attend it.

The president has also been accused of a series of corruption scandals, including the alleged use of state land for lucrative land deals in Davao City.

While he is under investigation, the president has repeatedly urged the public to help him to tackle the problem of drugs.

The last public forum held by Duterte came in January last year when the country has issued the "Don't be a hindrance" campaign.

In December, President Duterte said he was confident he would be able to rid the country of drugs within three years if he continued the policy.
